KATSEYE set to pop the Kids’ Choice Awards with a “Gnarly” performance

KATSEYE is headed to the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, and they’re bringing the house down with their viral hit “Gnarly.” The rising global girl group will take the stage on Saturday, June 21, broadcasting live from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Hosted by Tyla, the show promises star power, slime, and standout music moments.

KATSEYE, made up of Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae, was formed through HYBE and Geffen Records’ global audition show The Dream Academy. Their journey from trainees to international idols was even spotlighted in the Netflix docuseries Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE. Their diverse backgrounds and bold style have earned them the “global girl group” title.

Their performance at the Kids’ Choice Awards is a major milestone. “Gnarly” landed on the Billboard Hot 100, powered by fan-made dance challenges and its controversial sound. The show will air across multiple Nickelodeon channels, including TeenNick and Nicktoons, plus MTV2 and CMT. And the fun doesn’t stop there. On June 27, KATSEYE drops their second EP, “Beautiful Chaos,” promising a mix of high-energy bangers and softer, emotional tracks. They’ve already lit up Wango Tango, and Lollapalooza is next. With their unique sound and fearless visuals, KATSEYE is on a fast track to becoming pop’s next worldwide obsession.
